Yesterday, July 17, 2020, I received a random call from a friend of mine around 10pm to go and shoot a comet. I was a little bamboozled especially since I had never tried astrophotography but gave it a go. We went to a fire lookout tower nearby where we could see the Comet Neowise above Vila Real at around 23h.
It was a good experience and I took the opportunity to try to capture the Milky Way for the first time, set towards the southern horizon just above the fire lookout tower.
